Response to Intervention - Middle Grades Focus

 

 

W. Alan Coulter is a licensed school psychologist with more than twenty-five years experience in the design and implementation of service delivery systems for students with disabilities. During Dr. Coulter's tenure at the Human Development Center he has been responsible for activities related to school-age children including the Louisiana School Psychology Internship Program (LAS*PIC), evaluation of the effectiveness of state and local special education programs, applications of technology to instruction and administration, and the implications of cross-cultural competence for human service professionals. His research interests include monitoring for quality assurance, person-power needs in education, and the use of technology to enhance faculty effectiveness.

 

This year the AIMS 2008 Summer SPLASH will focus on RtI in the Middle Grades.  Dr. W.Alan Coulter's expertise in Response to Intervention will be showcased during the Keynote Session.  The Summer SPLASH will also provide in its breakout sessions examples of AIMS Network Schools who have implemented RtI programs within their curriculum as well as bonus sessions by Barbara Kalina and Elliot Merenbloom as they discuss their new book Making Creative Scheudles Work! in Middle and High School.  Come learn from the best!
